Hello, I’m Shadi Desjardins, a visual communication designer with over 20 years of experience in design and marketing. I’ve collaborated with businesses of all sizes, creative studios, and in-house teams to produce everything from print pieces to digital campaigns.

Art has always been part of my life. I’ve been drawing and experimenting with art since I was very little, and that curiosity eventually led me into painting, printmaking, and graphic design. My lifelong experience with fine art carries into my design work—the way I think about colour, composition, and visual balance is rooted in years of hands-on exploration and learning.

I combine all of my expertise with HITL (with Human-in-the-Loop AI), using AI as a tool to increase efficiency while keeping creative direction, judgment, and intent firmly human. This approach allows me to move faster where it makes sense, without sacrificing the thoughtful, tactile, and intentional qualities that good design requires.

Whether I’m preparing a large-format file, building marketing materials, designing a logo, or working on a custom art piece, I aim to make the process easy and collaborative. Clear direction helps, creativity matters, and the goal is always the same—work that feels honest, thoughtful, and visually pleasing.
